It was a weekend of new experiences for the DUBC Novice 8 who headed off to race London Metropolitan Regatta at Eton Dorney.
The first day was a tough battle with the 8 just missing qualifying for the the final by coming 4th in the their heat making it 7th overall. The Sunday saw greater results with the 8 coming in 2nd in their final less than a seat behind UL.
There were also 2 DUBC Novices trying their luck in the scull and double at Carlow Regatta. Congratulations to Andrew Holt and Sam Hayes for good performances in the sculling boats which will stand to them come next season.
